Biography

Aaron is an Emmy-nominated news anchor who joined WYFF News 4 in October 2022. Previously, he was an evening anchor at KYTX in Tyler, Texas. In his time there, he acted as the lead evening anchor through the COVID-19 pandemic, a serial killer trial, severe weather, evacuations, protests and elections. He also reported on the housing market boom, business challenges during the pandemic, and state politics. His 12 years of experience on camera include time as a host at the Home Shopping Network and on YouTube as host of a popular technology show. Born and raised in Asheville, Aaron attended Western Carolina University and UNC Charlotte. He is happy to be back home - and to be telling stories about the community he grew up in. When he’s not at work, Aaron loves running, being outside, and spending time with his family. Aaron and his wife Jess have been married since 2013. They have two kids and two cats named Callie and Oscar.
