REFUND POLICY

This Agreement (“Agreement”) is made effective by and between Bold Horizon Inc. (the “Company”), doing business as Journalist Hunt, and the purchaser of the digital product (hereafter “Client”), for the purpose of Client accessing or purchasing a digital product from the Company’s online platform (the “Product”). Client agrees to the terms and conditions below by checking the box on the sign-up page or by submitting payment for the Product.


1. DIGITAL PRODUCT USAGE

After creating an account or purchasing a subscription, Client will be given access to the Journalist Hunt dashboard. Client will have access to the journalist database, media contact lists, and other resources in accordance with the chosen plan (free or paid).

The Company grants Client one (1) exclusive, non-transferable license to use the Product. Client understands and agrees that the Product may not be shared with third parties. If the Company suspects that the Product is being shared, it reserves the right to terminate Client’s access immediately.

Client may use the Product for personal or business use. Client is not obligated to give credit to the Company when using information obtained from the Product.


2. FEES AND PAYMENT PROCESSING

In consideration for access to paid subscriptions, Client agrees to pay the subscription fee displayed on the online pricing page (https://journalisthunt.com/pricing).

If any payment method is declined by the payment processor, Client must provide a new eligible payment method before continuing access. If access was already granted and payment fails, the Company reserves the right to collect all outstanding receivables.


3. REFUND POLICY

3.1 General Refund Terms Refunds are not issued for the following:

  • Forgetting to cancel the subscription before renewal.
  • Non-usage of the Product after purchase.
  • Dissatisfaction with results (e.g., not receiving responses from journalists or not securing media coverage).

Refunds may be issued only for:

  • Proven technical errors caused by the Company that prevented access.
  • Billing errors attributable to the Company.

3.2 Renewals All subscriptions renew automatically unless canceled prior to the renewal date. Refunds for renewal charges are not granted except as outlined in 3.1.

3.3 Refund Request Process Refund requests must be emailed to contact@journalisthunt.com and must include:

  • The reason for the request.
  • Supporting evidence if applicable.

The Company reserves the right to deny refund requests that do not comply with this policy.


4. PERSONAL INFORMATION

By creating an account or purchasing a subscription, Client will be asked to provide personal information including name, email, and payment details. Client agrees to allow the Company to use this information for lawful purposes related to providing the Product.

The billing information provided will be kept secure and subject to confidentiality requirements. Providing false or inaccurate information, or using the Product for fraudulent or unlawful activity, may result in termination of access.


5. COPYRIGHT

Upon delivery of the Product, the Company assigns to the Client a license to use the Product for business and personal purposes, but retains all copyrights. Client may not reproduce, resell, or distribute the Product outside the scope of the subscription.


6. WARRANTIES AND LIABILITY

The Company makes every effort to ensure that the Product is accurate and functional. However, the Company provides no warranties, express or implied, regarding merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, or outcomes. Client agrees to indemnify the Company against all liabilities, claims, and damages arising out of Client’s breach of this Agreement. The Company shall not be liable for indirect or consequential damages, including loss of profits or opportunities.


7. Force majeure

If performance of this Agreement is prevented due to circumstances beyond either party’s control (including natural disasters, strikes, riots, war, terrorism, death of the Client or family member, or other force majeure events), the affected party will be excused from performance during such event.


8. Guarantees

The Company does not guarantee specific results from use of the Product, including press coverage or journalist responses. Outcomes vary depending on the Client’s use of the Product.


9. Release and reasonable expectations

Client has reviewed the Company’s business and reasonably understands that:

  • Every Client’s outcome with the Product will be different.
  • The Product is intended for broad use and not customized for any one Client.

10. Entire agreement

This Agreement constitutes the entire agreement between the Company and the Client. It supersedes all prior agreements and understandings. Any modifications must be in writing and signed by both parties.


11. Transfer

This Agreement may not be transferred or assigned to any third party without the written consent of both parties.


12. Free plan policy

12.1 Free Plan Terms

  • All new accounts start on the free plan, which functions as both a trial and an ongoing free tier.
  • The free plan allows access to 5 journalist profiles per month with full contact details.
  • The allowance resets monthly; unused profile views do not roll over.
  • Exports and certain advanced features are not available on the free plan.

12.2 Paid Upgrade

  • Clients may upgrade to a paid subscription at any time for unlimited access and premium features.
  • Billing cycles for paid plans begin on the upgrade date.

12.3 No Refund for Free Plan

  • Since no payment is collected for the free plan, refunds are not applicable.
