My work has been published on Mideast Youth, ArabNet, ReadWrite, the Arab American Institute, openDemocracy, MTV, Alhurra, Radio Sawa, Radio Netherlands Worldwide, Alhiwar Almutamaden, Beirut.com, The Broker, Napoli Monitor and African Writers Abroad, among many others. My work has been also translated to several languages. I was featured on numerous websites, newspapers and magazines, including Reuters, the New York Times, CNN, Russia Today, Amnesty International (German Version), MTV, VH1, Al-Masry Al-Youm English Online Edition, Bergens Tidende, Trowu and Akhbar Al-Adab, among many others. I was a guest speaker on numerous TV shows and radio stations, including the New York Times, CNN, BR radio station, DW Radio, Ahram Online, Radio El-Mahrosa, Radio Sawt Beirut International, Al-Bate Betak talk show and Al-Boyout Asrar talk show, among many others. I participated and spoke in many international conferences like the Global Media Forum '11 by Deutsche Welle in Bonn, Germany; the Changing Face of Citizen Action by HIVOS in the Hague, the Netherlands in 2011; Video Advocacy for Change in Ismaeliya, Egypt in 2011; Stockholm Internet Forum in Stockholm, Sweden in 2012; and Networking European Citizenship Education in Cordoba, Spain in 2013.

The Freedom of the Press Foundation (FPF) is a U.S.-based non-profit organization established on December 17, 2012. Its mission is to protect and promote freedom of the press by supporting journalists and whistleblowers through various initiatives. FPF is a 501(c)3 organization, allowing for tax-deductible donations.
