Biography

Aine Ryan is passionate about two things: toasted sandwiches and Instagram stalking. Luckily, the latter skill is somewhat useful in her position at 9Honey Celebrity, where she’s worked since February 2017, covering local and international entertainment news and pop culture. She enjoys enthusiastically asking her colleagues about their latest TV show binge and is still in recovery after seeing A Star Is Born. Prior to working for Nine, Aine worked as a talkback producer for 6PR radio in Perth. She moved to Sydney in 2015 to take up a position as a researcher for Seven’s Sunday Night program, helping create long form news and current affairs content. Aine is currently paying off her student debts after completing a post-graduate diploma in broadcasting from from the Western Australian Academy of Performing Arts, and an undergrad degree in communications, majoring in broadcasting and journalism. She can occasionally be heard on radio talking all things pop culture. MAFS fan? She also writes the recaps for the Married At First Sight official website. Find them here: https://9now.nine.com.au/married-at-first-sight/recap You can follow her on Twitter and Instagram, or email her at airyan@nine.com.au
