I'm a breaking news anchor and reporter at WKRN News 2 in Nashville, Tennessee. I strive to locate breaking news and present it on-air and bring that content straight to our viewers on social media. I also report on an array of special projects and enterprise stories. Prior to this, I was a morning show anchor and reporter at WCIA 3 News in Champaign, IL. I created the content all content for the 9AM/12PM hours. The morning show is the top morning newscast in that market. I enjoy reporting on a wide range of topics. I also created my own franchise 'Alex Around Town'. In those stories, I talk about people, places or organizations that the community doesn't know about. I've always believed that the most compelling stories are the ones that impact people's lives. I work hard to enterprise ideas that make an impact in our community. From there, I create relationships that will make our content stronger. At my core, I am a true storyteller and I absolutely love people.
