He is credentialed with the U.S. Capitol Periodical Press Gallery and is a member of the National Press Club in Washington, D.C. as well as the Investigative Reporters & Editors (IRE) organization. In 2024, Alex was selected to serve as one of the National Press Foundation's Paul Miller Washington Reporting Fellows.
