Biography

South African based writer and copy editor with over six years of writing, editing, blogging, and book reviewing experience. I have worked across many industries, including literature, arts, and both the public and private sectors. I currently work as a freelance copy editor and writer, but I am also a founding member of a nonprofit organisation called The Black and Bookish Literacy Project. We are currently working on reviving school libraries in our community. I am a recipient of the 2023 Kammadagga Residency hosted by the Jakes Gerwel Foundation, and the 2024 Bosberg Book Writing Mentorship Programme by the Jakes Gerwel Foundation.
