Freelance NCTJ qualified journalist and editor based in the UK with over eight years experience. My interests and expertise include (but are not limited to)... Other interests: Goth culture, horror, science fiction, folklore, mythology, literature (particularly the gothic) the occult (tarot, Golden Dawn, esoteric belief) and history (I have worked in a museum environment). Music: psychedelic rock, extreme metal, classic rock, folk and punk. I was previously Online Editor of Metal Hammer magazine. Cinema: I have had a love of film and cinema from an early age and I am knowledgable about all aspects of the film industry. However I have a special place in my heart for horror and cult film. I studied for a Masters degree in Magazine Journalism and a BA in English Literature (including modules in Queer Studies, Literature Into Film, The Film Musical, Hitchcock, Feminisms, Women Writers, Gothic Literature and more). I have also studied Classics.
