Biography

As managing editor of Investment Executive and Advisor.ca, I work with a high-performing team of journalists at Newcom Media to cover Canada's financial services sector. You'll see a mixture of industry and regulatory news on our sites, as well as practice management features aimed at financial advisors. For two-and-a-half years before joining Newcom in December 2024, I led an outstanding editorial team at The Northern Miner, covering the global exploration and mining industry from a Canadian perspective. I was responsible for managing the website and production of a bi-weekly newspaper (monthly since October 2023). Before that, I was the Editor-in-Chief of Canadian Mining Journal for five years (2017 to 2022). I'm a graduate of the University of Toronto (Political Science) and Centennial College (Journalism), and most recently completed courses in the Digital Strategy & Communications Management certificate program at the University of Toronto's Continuing School of Education.
