I'm a multimedia journalist from the greater Los Angeles/Inland Empire area. I’m currently reporting on the Inland Empire for the Southern California News Group, covering local news and issues, from the coronavirus and race to what’s happening in your local city council. I graduated from the Newmark Graduate School of Journalism at the City University of New York (CUNY) in 2018. I have 4+ years of experience in print, digital and ethnic media. Working as both a full-time and freelance reporter, I have covered general assignment beats including race, religion, immigration, education, transportation, lifestyle, culture and entertainment. I specialize in long-form projects and written features. I am also skilled in copy-editing, research, photojournalism and event coverage. I love telling stories that highlight diverse perspectives, from different faiths to immigrant enclaves and their stories.
