I am a freelance journalist who has worked as a full-time reporter and editor in India, Guam, Florida and Louisiana. I received my bachelor’s degree in journalism and communications from the University of Florida in 2008, and have worked as a radio news anchor, a writer and editor with Gannett’s Pacific Daily News in Guam and The News-Star in Monroe, Louisiana. I have also written for The Hindu, India’s National newspaper, the Gainesville Sun and Gainesville Magazine, Lonely Planet and Khabar Magazine.
