Journalist at heart. I started back in 2005 as an intern with Golem.de and became a journalist ever since. I used to be a sysadmin as well for a long time and studied (unsuccessfully) computer science and sociology. All those experience influence me to this day though giving me the ability to widen my point of view beyond the IT topics including (long term) effects on society. I also travel a lot for work. Especially to East Asia and the United States. I tend to combine these experiences along with my aviation and railway knowledge with IT. Covering unusual topic combinations is my speciality.
