Company Info

Smart As Media

Smart As Media was established in 2016 as a freelance media agency by two of Australia's most prolific and experienced journalists, Stephen Corby and Andrew Chesterton. Stephen has worked for newspapers, magazines and websites in Australia, England and the US, and previously edited both Wheels and TopGear Australia magazines, which people often assume must have been his most enjoyable jobs. In actual fact, he enjoyed being a feature writer and columnist for The Sunday Telegraph more, because of the endless variety. And the sweet, sweet sensation of spending Rupert Murdoch's money. Andrew began as a journalist at Sydney's The Daily Telegraph before he was lured into the fast-paced world of supercars alongside Corby at TopGear Australia magazine, where he quickly became recognised as one of the country's most entertaining and engaging feature writers. Andrew then side-stepped into corporate communications for three years with FCA Australia before being lured back into journalism with a senior role at The Daily Mail, which involved spending time at HQ in London. He now knows more about websites and SEO than he ever wanted to. Through his work for CarsGuide, he has also become one of Australia's most popular, and entertaining, video presenters. Andrew is one of those people who has so many ideas on any given day that you do fear for the structural integrity of his skull, and also one of the world's most insatiable news hounds.
