After finishing my MS in Policy Analysis at Carnegie Mellon University, I worked for 30 years as an analyst/manager and senior executive in businesses at the intersection of technology and services. In 2012, I pivoted to the role of research analyst/writer focused on the subject of contingent workforce (temps, freelancers, etc.) and the accelerating impact of technology on it (including gig economy).
