Today I make my home in Peskeomscut — aka Turners Falls — near where I was born in western Massachusetts, but my work is influenced by all the places I've lived — Arizona, Wisconsin, Mexico — and travelled. Much of my writing, whether fiction or non fiction, explores the complex geographies of place and how they map our understanding of ourselves.
