IndigiNews is an Indigenous-led online journalism publication that serves First Nations, Inuit, and Métis communities. Launched on May 5, 2020, it is a collaboration between Discourse Community Publishing and APTN. IndigiNews focuses on delivering local news that reflects the perspectives and needs of Indigenous communities, particularly in British Columbia's Okanagan Valley and Vancouver Island. The platform aims to provide respectful and accurate reporting, countering historical misrepresentation of Indigenous peoples in mainstream media.
