Biography
Ph.D. from 2006. I specialize in Russia's history, policy, and the political system's interaction with civil society. I was a political observer and chief editor of national media for five years. From 2017 to 2021, I headed the Public Council at the Ministry of Domestic Policy of the Tula region. In addition, I am a laureate of All-Russian competitions among political scientists and journalists. I am a Board Member of the Russian Historical, educational, and human rights society "Memorial," the 2022 Nobel Peace Prize winner. I have authored over 120 journalistic and scientific articles, a Russian Federation electoral process textbook, and a monograph on Russian history in the early 20th century. In 2017, I participated in the prestigious International Visitor Leadership Program titled "Behind the Numbers: How political parties can effectively use polling information," organized by the United States Department of State Bureau of Educational and Cultural Affairs. Currently, I hold the position of Executive Director at Close People LLC. My company brings together experts in the history and politics of modern Russia and the post-Soviet space.
