Aprameya Rao works with WION, India's global news channel. Previously, he was associated with NDTV, where he managed its social media assets and also contributed articles to the business, careers, education and sports desk. Before NDTV, Aprameya worked with Deccan Chronicle, Hyderabad's leading newspaper, where he worked on the print as well as online desk. His articles have appeared in different publications like NDTV, Deccan Chronicle The Asian Age, Financial Chronicle, Firstpost, Firstpost Print, and DNA (Daily News and Analysis). Aprameya has also worked as an independent contributor for a Lok Sabha election-related initiative. Before that, he was associated with X Billion Labs (Now rebranded Workverse), a human development enterprise in Mumbai. Prior to X Billion Labs, Aprameya was a journalist with Firstpost, India's leading digital news platform. Before entering the field of journalism and research, Aprameya completed his undergraduate degree in economics from KC College, affiliated to Mumbai University, in 2015. He also completed a post-graduate degree in communication and journalism from the same institution in 2017. Aprameya's interests lie in editing, content curation, news research and re-writing. Aprameya has worked across desks, with notable stints on the business and sports desks.
