After being in the education sector for more than a decade, Ariel joined The Straits Times in Jan 2024 to pursue her interest in writing. She has a bachelor's degree in psychology from the National University of Singapore and a postgraduate diploma in education from the National Institute of Education. It has been an eye-opening experience for her since she stepped into journalism, allowing her to engage with individuals from all walks of life. She is eager to share the insights she has gained from her experiences with her students.
