RTBF (Radio Télévision Belge Francophone) is the public broadcasting organization for the French Community of Belgium. It serves the southern, French-speaking region of the country and operates as a public service media entity. RTBF focuses on providing independent information, promoting culture and heritage, and contributing to social cohesion and local economic development. The organization offers a variety of television channels, including La Une, Tipik, La Trois, Arte Belgique, and PureVision. In addition, RTBF manages several radio stations such as La Première, RTBF Mix, VivaCité, Musiq3, Classic 21, Tipik, PureFM, Tarmac, Viva+, and Jam. With a workforce of 1,001 to 5,000 employees, RTBF generates revenue primarily from public funding, with reported revenues around $443 million. It is governed by a Board of Directors appointed by the Parliament of the Wallonia-Brussels Federation.
