My name is Ashlee Woods and I'm the editor-in-chief for 1956 Magazine. I'm a student at the University of Alabama, majoring in News Media with a minor in Political Science. I have always been a fan of sports and this past April, I took the jump into sports journalism by starting my own blog, Ashlee's Breakdowns. Since then, I was hired by the Crimson White as a staff reporter for the sports desk. I was also hired by Last Out Media, a local sports market in Philadelphia, to write for football and baseball. I've always enjoyed writing and sharing stories. I just never thought that I would ever pursue this field. However, my desire to educate led me to write and I've never been happier. I'm originally from Middletown, Delaware and this is my junior year in school. My favorite sports are football, women's basketball, and tennis.
