The Daily Free Press is the independent student-run newspaper of Boston University, established on May 5, 1970. It operates under Back Bay Publishing Co., Inc., a nonprofit organization, and is the longest-running continuous publication at BU. The newspaper features a digital-first format, publishing online articles Monday through Friday, and offers a monthly print broadsheet edition during the academic year.
