Biography

I am a campaigning journalist with a specialism in the area of family estrangement. I have mostly published in The Guardian and The Times. I am a City University MA graduate from 2012. In 2012, I formed a charitable think-tank called Stand Alone to campaign for policy changes for estranged young people in Higher Education. The organisation also helped hundreds of estranged adults to tell their story. We gratefully transformed the landscape for estranged young people in the UK who now have government recognition and priorities for funding. I work as a freelance journalist, writer and coach, helping others to tell their story about dysfunctional family.
