The New School Free Press

The only place to find The New School all in one place. The New School Free Press is The New School's university-wide, student-run publication. It is published with the support of The New School and the Literary Studies department of Eugene Lang College, and currently functions as a monthly publication with a daily presence on the web. The Free Press operates as a credit-based class — though we do accept contributions — and covers each of The New School's seven divisions, Greenwich Village, New York City, and the world. The Free Press was founded in 2007, having evolved the now-defunct Lang College publication Inprint. In 2012, the Free Press won two awards — the Newspaper Pacemaker and the Online Pacemaker -— from the Associated College Press, the largest and oldest national membership organization for college student media in the United States.
