Multi-media journalist Bobbi I. Booker has covered race, pop culture and lifestyle issues for over 20 years as a beat writer and weeknight host of Jazz Through The Night and Spirit Soul Music on Ovations on WRTI 90.1 Fm in Philadelphia/USA. The near lifelong scribe was among the first music writers to document the birth of the Neo Soul Sounds of Illadephia, where The Roots, Jill Scott, Erykah Badu, Kindred:The Family Soul, Jazmine Sullivan and Lauren Hill debuted their talents. Her journalism has appeared in numerous publications, including: The Associated Press, Philadelphia Magazine, Dosage Magazine, NPR Books, Publisher's Weekly, The Philadelphia Inquirer, Genorcity and Lonely Planet.
