South African Broadcasting Corporation (SABC)

The South African Broadcasting Corporation (SABC) is the public broadcaster of South Africa, established in 1936. It is one of the largest state-owned enterprises in the country and the biggest state broadcaster in Africa, headquartered in Johannesburg. The SABC operates under the Public Finance Management Act and is governed by the Broadcasting Act of 1999.
