Brad Wolverton is a Washington, D.C.-based reporter and editor who cut his teeth writing business news and analysis pieces for BusinessWeek and has published stories in The Washington Post, USA TODAY, SI.com, and other national publications. He spent 14 years as a senior writer and editor at The Chronicle of Higher Education, where he was a four-time winner of national education reporting awards. His profile of a semiliterate college football player, "The Education of Dasmine Cathey," earned a top prize for feature writing from the Online News Association. And his examination of Christian influences in Clemson University's football program was a notable selection in the 2014 volume of "The Best American Sports Writing." Most recently, he covered wrongdoing in consumer finance as part of an investigative reporting team at NerdWallet. Brad is a 1992 graduate of Indiana University at Bloomington, where he studied journalism and Spanish.
