Biography

Hi! I am a writer, producer, photographer and editor currently based in Berkeley, California. I'm interested in reporting on the cultural, social and environmental issues that often disproportionately impact underreported communities. I'm a recent Magna Cum Laude graduate of Georgia State University, where I earned her Advanced Honors Degree in creative writing with a minor in journalism. There, she was a staff reporter and eventually Arts and Living Editor for The Signal, Georgia State’s award-winning independent student newspaper. After graduation, I worked as a General Assignment Reporter for The Atlanta Voice, a local Black-owned publication. While there, I covered a wide array of topics, such as the Ahmaud Arbery trial, POTUS and VPOTUS visiting Atlanta along with local Black business features. Now at UC Berkeley, I'm looking forward to refining my skills as a writer and pursuing my interest in the world of audio and podcasting.
