Biography
Brian Armstrong grew up in a small farm town in rural Indiana and learned to shoot before he learned to drive. His career began as a firefighter and medic in Ft. Wayne, Indiana, before moving to Chicago. Throughout the years, he has owned multiple businesses, and now he has returned to his emergency roots. Brian teaches emergency medical and firearms courses, along with contributing to numerous firearms industry and law enforcement publications. As an instructor, Brian believes the best way to learn "HOW" to do something is to first answer "WHY" you do something. Now, he's sharing the knowledge he's gained from teaching, learning from others, and researching topics you don't have time to explore. His feeling about staying safe is, "The best way to win a fight is not to get into a fight!" But if you have no choice and must defend yourself, whoever threatens your life is not your friend! They are not looking to have a conversation, they are not looking for a therapist, and they will not play fair. Be mentally prepared, and remember that it may come down to saving your loved one's life and your own. If attacked, you are there to stop the aggression and live to see your family. Carrying a firearm is about surviving a potentially lethal encounter and protecting your loved ones. He's always looking for new ideas and fresh perspectives, so please reach out and let him know what's on your mind. You can follow him at @LetsTalkDGU and #LetsTalkDGU
