Biography

Hi, I’m Britt! I’m a writer, editor, and product testing pro based in Louisiana. As a former blogger, my specialties are lifestyle, entertainment, and e-commerce. I also write beauty, fashion, food, wellness, and travel content. I’m currently the Commerce Editor at Apartment Therapy and the founder of Frankly Be. My work has been featured in Apartment Therapy, The Kitchn, Cubby, Offcultured, Pinterest, and Scene. Within that time, I worked in various facets with The Daebak Company (Daebak Box and SnackFever) that included editing, copywriting, and co-managing the global editorial internship program. On top of being a lifelong creative, I’m a certified creativity coach and I use tools from that training to help guide my career, leadership, and content strategy. Additionally, regularly testing products has put me at the forefront of noteworthy gadgets and gizmos that make life more interesting, efficient, and fun. Creativity and inspiration have always been central to my writing, whether it’s a product review or an entertainment feature. Regardless of the avenue, I simply enjoy tapping into everyday curiosity that drives individuals to show up authentically and create a life that truly embodies their vision. In my spare time, I’m often working on passion projects, catching up on my favorite shows and video games, or spoiling my dogs. That’s if I’m not in the middle of planning my next trip for a concert, to explore, or just for some good old fashioned R&R.

Apartment Therapy

There are 6.991 billion people in the world and they all have stuff. A whole lot of stuff. Every home, studio, office, school, store and stoop is a potential market, each filled with goods that could be sold, rented, traded, or given. Imagine the world as one global marketplace, powered entirely by local communities. Krrb (pronounced 'curb') is a hyperlocal, curiously global classifieds made just for you. A most epic scavenger hunt at your fingertips where you can thrift, rummage and discover local treasures - at your doorstep or around the world. See what's around you, discover your local flavor. Dip into another neighborhood in another city and see what they have to offer locally. Travel to another country and uncover local treasures you can't find at home.
