I am a Manchester-based journalist and editor, specialising in travel. I write for a number of high-profile publications including The Telegraph, The Independent, Forbes UK and Travel Weekly. As a proud Mancunian, I specialise in writing about the city I grew up in and still call home. I regularly review the city’s best hotels, restaurants and attractions for Telegraph Travel as its Manchester expert. I also write about the city for various other publications With two young children, I write frequently about family travel. I aim to give readers the courage to plan more adventurous holidays with their kids through articles, including first-hand accounts of my own experiences (and mistakes). I also write destination guides, travel consumer advice features and hotel reviews.
