Biography
I began my professional sports writing career with The Sin Bin, covering the ECHL's Idaho Steelheads for the 2017-18 season. During the 2018 ECHL Kelly Cup Playoffs, I covered both Idaho and the Colorado Eagles. In the 2018 offseason, I interviewed all four Steelheads alumni whose jerseys were retired by the organization. 2018-19 was my final season on the Steelheads beat. I was also an on-site correspondent for the 2019 ECHL/CCM All Star Classic in Toledo, OH. And, shortly before covering the ASC, I was promoted to ECHL Editor in January 2019. In the fall of 2019, I moved to Colorado and began covering the AHL's Colorado Eagles prior to the 2019-20 season. During that time, I transitioned from ECHL Editor to AHL/ECHL Editor to exclusively AHL Editor in 2020. As the overseer of the AHL staff for The Sin Bin, I helped grow the writing team from five to 15 AHL correspondents for the 2020 offseason and following 2021 regular season. Some other responsibilities I took on at The Sin Bin were hosting its flagship AHL/ECHL podcast, In The Corners, from March 2018 to December 2020; covering two ECHL trade deadlines via live broadcast in 2018 and 2019; and developing relationships with both AHL and ECHL media directors on behalf of the site & individual writers. I left The Sin Bin and joined the Full Press Hockey staff as AHL Editor in January 2021. Aside from my editorial duties, I continued my coverage of the Colorado Eagles. Full Press and I parted ways in January 2024.
