I have four decades of experience in writing about and consulting on the civil aviation industry, aerospace and travel. During my career I have covered many aspects of these industries, from writing in detail about sophisticated tax-based aircraft lease financing deals to reporting on developments in fighter engines and jet fuel-powered hypersonic propulsion, and from aviation environmental initiatives to aircraft maintenance. Recently I have particularly enjoyed researching and writing feature articles and news stories about business aircraft and the business aviation industry. My reporting has also ranged from describing the latest air travel and simulation training technologies to discussing developments in the helicopter industry, as well as writing articles about airport facilities and producing features on exciting tourism destinations. Additionally, many magazines and Web sites have used my photographs to illustrate my own and others' stories.
