Born and raised in Carrollton, Mississippi, Chris Nalls is an Emmy-nominated journalist known for his creative and demonstrative storytelling. After graduating high school, Chris attended Holmes Community College before earning his Bachelor of Business Administration in Marketing from Mississippi State University. Starkville became home for several years as he worked as the bureau reporter, covering some of the region’s most impactful stories. His ability to break news and engage audiences quickly earned him recognition, leading to a Southeast Regional Emmy nomination for his coverage of the 2022 Steens Tornado—just six months into his role. Throughout his career, Chris has interviewed notable figures, including actress Vivica A. Fox and Good Morning America anchor Robin Roberts. Whether covering breaking news, severe weather, or human-interest pieces, he brings an energetic and creative approach to journalism that resonates with viewers. Beyond the newsroom, Chris is a dynamic host and emcee for local events, a motivational speaker, and the host of his own talk show. He also loves serving in his church and has had the honor of working as a broadcast host for the Church of God in Christ International Conventions.
