Chris Steele is an investigative journalist who has written for Truthout, Alternet, Salon, Counterpunch, Political Fail Blog, Popular Resistance, and many more notable publications. Steele is most known for his work with Noam Chomsky, they have co-authored articles together and an interview he did with Chomsky titled There's Always a Class War Going On was in Chomsky's book Occupy: Reflections on Class War, Rebellion and Solidarity. Steele got his start as a journalist with the Denver Examiner. The Westword reported that Steele writes about controversial subjects such as "the government's role in the death of Fred Hampton of the Black Panther Party -- and has received death threats in return."
