Biography
I’m proud to work as a storyteller reporting for First Coast News in Jacksonville, Florida. I’m dedicated to using my platform on Good Morning Jacksonville to sharing inspiring features and delivering breaking news before the sun comes up. I previously worked as a reporter for Tegna’s WNEP-TV, Hearst Television’s Washington News Bureau as a Production Assistant in the newsroom and National Investigative Unit. I’m also a freelance journalist and my work has been featured at the Federalist, Radio America, The American Veterans Center, Campus Reform, the Delaware Department of Transportation, and Nexstar’s WDVM Studios. As a Multimedia Journalist and my career goal is to be more than just a trustworthy news anchor, but a journalist that makes a difference in my community through stories for TV, social media and web. I hope through a reporter role, I can start improving the climate of American journalism by building trust with viewers in any market. And continuing my habit of becoming apart of the community I work in, even on my time off. 2023 Boyd Huppert's Storytelling Program 2021 PennACE's Student of the Year 2021 Emma Bowen Foundation Alumni 2021 Fund for American Studies Alumni 2021 The Washington Center Alumni 2020 National Journalism Center Alumni
