Biography

I'm Corine Duvalet, an accomplished journalist with over two decades in the industry. I earned my bachelor's degree in journalism from Paris Dauphine University – PSL and, 18 years later, I also added a diploma in Agronomy and Agriculture from the Paris School of Business to my accolades. During my university days, I was an active participant in the Student Council, volunteered at the university radio, and was even awarded a scholarship for excellence. In essence, I was the quintessential model student, and this drive for perfection has carried through to my professional life as well. Writing has always been a source of immense joy for me, and I'm deeply grateful to have had the opportunity to immerse myself in journalism for so long. More recently, my interest has piqued in gardening, largely stemming from my difficulty in sourcing food free of synthetic fertilizers and pesticides. In my spare moments, I lovingly tend to a modest vegetable garden and some truly splendid flowerbeds. Over the years, I've had the privilege of collaborating with some of the most prestigious and influential publishing houses in France, including Madame Figaro, Femme Actuelle, 20 Minutes France, among others. My colleagues often describe me as the heart of the team: a cheerful, inspiring presence, bursting with energy and an insatiable curiosity. My interests span history, politics, and I have a particular fondness for crime novels. The books I delve into often provide a fresh perspective on life's nuances and have imparted countless lessons. Since 2014, I've been an editor at Archzine, and I truly cherish being a part of this vibrant and refreshing team for almost a decade now.
