C-SPAN

C-SPAN, or Cable-Satellite Public Affairs Network, is a nonprofit television network established in 1979. Headquartered in Washington, D.C., it provides unfiltered coverage of U.S. government proceedings and public affairs programming. Founded by Brian Lamb, C-SPAN began with a broadcast of a U.S. House of Representatives session and has since expanded to reach over 100 million households.
