Latinas are the least represented group in media when compared to our actual population. In politics, news, films, and books, our stories rarely get told and when they do, they often rely on damaging stereotypes. Latinas need to be creating, starring, and reviewing our own stories. It's time we have a say in deciding how we are represented. We created Mujeres Problemáticas: Latina Media Reviews to uplift the Latina perspective and make our viewpoints part of the mainstream conversation.
