Damian Kerlin is a culture and LGBTQ+ journalist, broadcaster, and rising talent in radio and podcasting. He is the host of Memories from the Dance Floor, the acclaimed Acast-commissioned podcast that celebrates LGBTQ+ venues and club nights, offering an intimate look at their history, community, and music. The series, praised by The Sunday Times, The Financial Times, and The Guardian, was recommissioned for a second season, released during Pride Month in June 2024. Building on the podcast’s success, Damian is expanding the project into a book, set to be published by Dialogue Books in 2026. In addition to his podcasting work, Damian is a host on Virgin Radio Pride and a culture correspondent for Monocle Radio, where he brings his unique perspective to stories about music, identity, and queer culture. With a passion for storytelling and amplifying underrepresented voices, Damian is keen to further his career in radio and podcasting, sharing engaging narratives that resonate across diverse audiences.
