Briefly Write is a little literary space for bold, succinct writing. Always free to enter and WE PAY ALL WRITERS. Briefly Zine is our flagship twice-yearly zine of quality poetry, prose and photography. The Briefly Write Poetry Prize is our annual poetry competition, which receives thousands of entries and has give out hundreds of pounds in prizes. Write Ten is our annual ten-word story competition. Our book reviews, which are focused on environmental themes and debut authors, help amplify small presses and up-and-coming writers. In the Briefly Zone, we offer concise, considerate feedback on stories or poems. We also publish occasional collections of micro essays (Briefly Think).
