Biography

A three-decade attempt to escape making keys in my father's hardware store. Resume includes Medill, papers in Norfolk and Louisville before arriving at the "Zen ice cream factory," the Philadelphia Inquirer of the 1980s. Have played through ever since, from suburban reporter to city desk GA, feature writer to foreign correspondent to local columnist to full-time blogger, dog at my feet. I've been Enterprise Editor, News Features Editor and now I run the ITeam's quick-strike unit.
