Biography

David Haldane, a former Los Angeles Times staff writer, is the award-winning author of three books; a 2015 memoir called :"Nazis & Nudists," a 2021 short-story collection called "Jenny on the Street," and a 2023 essay collection entitled "A Tooth in My Popsicle." In addition to his journalism, essays and short fiction, Haldane has written and produced radio features for which he was awarded a 2018 Golden Mike by the Radio & Television News Association of Southern California. He currently divides his time between homes in Joshua Tree, California, and Northern Mindanao, Philippines where he is a lifestyle writer and columnist for The Manila Times.
