Hi! I am David Kwiatkowski. I'm 22 years old and currently live in Columbus, Ohio. Originally from Cleveland, my passion for journalism began as a nosey student at Parma Senior High School. However as our school did not offer a newspaper; my insatiable need to know what was going on did not have an outlet for writing outside my English and history classes. I graduated from Miami University in May 2022 with a double major in Journalism and American Studies. During my time at Miami, I worked as a writing consultant at the Howe Writing Center and as a writer and editor at The Miami Student newspaper and magazine. I also hosted "Pop Culture Convos" for The Miami Student and "Lyrical Thoughts" for RedHawk Radio. During the summers of my sophomore and junior years, I had reporting internships at Gaye Magazine based in Atlanta, GA and The Chautauquan Daily based in Chautauqua, NY. After graduation, I had a summer internship on the features/arts & culture desk at The Columbus Dispatch, part of the USAToday network. I enjoy making award show commentary from my living room and traveling to ride every roller coaster in America.
