Due to the dynamics of the media industry today, I am tasked with delivering articles, videos and photos for publication in both print, broadcast and online platforms at Nation Media Group. In my stint as a senior correspondent in Meru, I have covered a wide array of beats including agriculture, business, courts, environment and climate change, health, development and politics besides taking photos at news events and off beat. For the last two years, I have occasionally assisted in editing stories and directing content generation from correspondents based in 11 counties. I hold a diploma in Mass Communication (Print Option) and have seven years of experience in the practice of journalism. I am currently pursuing a degree in Mass Media and Communication at Mount Kenya University. Before joining NMG, I worked as a freelance journalist for various local newspapers in Meru County where I concentrated on development reporting. I have developed keen interest in science, agriculture, environment and climate change, and health reporting. I continue to hone my skills in these areas.
