Biography
I have been a journalist always - observing and writing even as a child. My first gig was as the editor for the Gull's Cry at Gulf Coast Community College, and then as editor for the High Point University publication. I also wrote and edited for weekly newspapers, and then landed a job at Pace Communications. I began freelancing in 1994 and have contributed to countless local, regional, national, and international publications and non-fiction books. I also have two novels: Broken Shells and Playing Guy. Currently, I am a writer/reporter for GateHouse Media and an editorial assistant for Columbia Metropolitan magazine; plus, I am still freelancing. Once a journalist, hopefully always a journalist!
