Report For America

Report for America is a nonprofit initiative dedicated to revitalizing local journalism in the United States. Operated under The GroundTruth Project, it addresses the decline in local news coverage by placing journalists in underserved communities to report on important issues. The organization aims to strengthen communities and democracy through truthful and fair reporting. The program recruits and places emerging journalists in local newsrooms, covering topics such as healthcare, education, racial justice, and government accountability.
