Riding my bike 'til I got lost was an early indication that I was born to explore. Show my a unique inn, repurposed hotel, glorious unspoiled hiking trail, postcard-perfect lake (with a handy kayak), local wildlife, or a meal cooked with pride, and I'm a happy gal. Discoveries like these make my job seem like play. I wrote my first travel book in 8th grade and haven't stopped writing.
