Biography

As a health, nutrition and lifestyle writer and a top editor at several national magazines, newspapers, and websites, there are no areas of the body that I haven't explored in print or online. I also prepare book proposals and provide editing services for physicians, nutritionists, and other health professionals. Since I am also a registered nurse, I have a background in medicine that allows me to cover scientific meetings for physician and lay audiences. I enjoy outdoor activities and travel writing. I've reported on altitude sickness in Nepal for the New York Times and snowshoeing in British Columbia for Living Fit. Packaging and writing a feature on European spas for SELF was the most luxurious story I've written; climbing Mt. Whitney for MORE, the most arduous. I'm available for editing and writing for print and digital media, blogging, book collaboration, and managing social media.
