I am a hard news/investigative student reporter in my senior year of college. As a student reporter, I watch, listen, and strive to learn from professors, editors, and other professionals. I crafted various hard news stories, enterprise stories, and feature stories for radio, print, and web. My skills include Adobe Creative Cloud (Premiere Pro, Photoshop, Audition), Videography, Photography, WordPress design, and Microsoft Suite(Powerpoint, Excel, Word). During my student career, I cultivated a passion for social, local, national, and international issues. During my student career, I worked as a hard news reporter on my Community College Paper. After that, I went on to become a field journalist for The Montclarion. I reported on multiple stories through the pandemic, and I was able to expand my craft to include multimedia projects. As well, I just finished an internship in Trenton as a Breaking News Urban Reporter, continually listening to a police scanner to monitoring and responding to breaking news across the city. Currently, I work as a Community Journalist in Hopewell. I attend planning board meetings and committee meetings reporting on hyperlocal problems in Hopewell Township. I learned how to embed myself into a variety of topics and learn how to adapt to fit the stories’ needs.
